“ Stopped here for lunch while visiting the Olympic National Park. Overall, this restaurant provides delicious food and great customer service. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are served too. Locally produced ginger cola was very good. We found ample free parking spaces around the restaurant. Don’t forget to go waterfront to enjoy views of Canada’s Vancouver Island. ”
“ No reservations for 2 are available, so on Labor Day morning around 10:30 we waited for about 25 minutes to be seated. Not to worry, plenty of walking about to be done. We don't eat out much, it has to be a special occasion due to the cost of eating out. Well, with 2 beverages, 2 entries, and 2 desserts we barely exceeded 60, before tax and tip. Now that's a bunch of money in my book, but if the food is unique, flavorful, and plentiful then I'll pay it. In this case New Day Eatery nailed it. Despite being very busy the staff was friendly and cordial. Our order was taken quickly upon sitting down. The food was prepared quickly, and presented beautifully. The flavors, so very good. The dessert, GF, but you wouldn't know it and so mouth watering with every bite. One nit, the drip coffee was so-so. Might as well order an Americano if you need the kick for 0.50 more I'll be back. ”
“ Friendly service and delicious food! We can recommend the biscuits & gravy and the veggie breakfast sandwich. The gravy was very good and the focaccia for the sandwich was incredible. Also got a tasty iced hibiscus tea. Bought a bunch of pastries to-go that are made in-house, too! ”
“ I’ve been here several times now; had sit down breakfast, to go breakfast, and come for pastries. It’s so wonderful to see an ENTIRE CASE of gluten free pastries, all delicious and fresh made. They also have basic or fancy coffees (super good) for whatever floats your boat. The gluten free breakfast offerings aren’t many but they are clearly marked and really tasty. My bf and I had the gf breakfast poutine and gf salmon frittata, both yum! Service from everyone has always been friendly, knowledgable and prompt. As a celiac from out of town, when I find a place like this it becomes a must stop when I’m here. Keep doing what you’re doing! ”

“ First, I have to appreciate the dedicated vegan brunch, breakfast, and lunch menu! Makes it so much easier to order. I had the vegan routine with the vegan sausages and it was spectacular! I was expecting the field roast sausage but it turned out to be a homemade tempeh sausage patty which was crispy and delicious. Would definitely reccomend this place, a bit pricey, but guaranteed a good, filling meal after a hike in hurricane ridge! There was also a mistake with one order which went unnoticed by the one who ordered it, but the waitress caught it and we got another meal to go! ”
“ Was floored seeing so many vegan options, and all really solid and diverse. First morning got the avocado Benedict. So good! Proof that you can do killer vegan biscuits and hollandaise. Second morning got the smothered breakfast burrito to go and ate it at Rialto Beach. Really nice plant chicken inside. Just blown away that they have such incredible vegan eats. ”
“ Found a new eatery with plenty of vegan options. If you have an issue with soy - make sure to note it as their “eggs” and “chyen” are both soy based. The menu has plenty of options for vegan, gluten free, and carnivores alike. We made two selections from the vegan options - poutine and root vegetables with potato rounds. Both were good! The portion size may seem a bit small but it is really normal. Let your food sit for a few and it will register! The root veggie dish had butternut squash and he had two regular eggs over medium (vegan eggs were an option. The poutine was nice crispy potato rounds with vegan shredded mozzarella and an onion and mushroom gravy. My only input is that the gravy was a bit salty while still tasty! They also have a great drink menu that includes alcohol, kombucha, and coffees (can be vegan compliant). Hubby had beer and I took a to go orange mocha oat milk latte! We will be back to try some of their backer goods which includes a number of vegan and gluten free compliant options. ”
